About My Practice
I offer appointments on weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings subject to availability. On occasion I do take appointments on weekends. Typically, I start with a 90-minute parent intake session. I prefer both parents and/or other relative to the initial interview in order to obtain multiple perspectives on presenting issues. After the intake interview is completed, I schedule subsequent evaluation sessions with the child. The length of these evaluation sessions is between 45 minutes and two hours, depending on the age and stamina of the child. An average of 6-8 sessions are usually scheduled with the child. When the report is completed, feedback sessions are scheduled with both parents and/or child.
Payment
I am not affiliated with any insurance plan or network but will work with families to help submit invoices to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of fee per your insurance company's policy for out of network providers. If using insurance, prospective clients who seek reimbursement are advised to contact their insurance company to ask about reimbursement rates and procedures prior to scheduling an evaluation. Those who do not seek reimbursement will not have diagnoses or any part of their records reviewed by a third party payer.
